3 Effective home remedies for acne (Pimples) prevention and treatment

Acne is a skin disorder caused by the clogging of hair follicles with oil and dead skin cells. Acne is most common in teenagers and young adults.

Acne is the most common skin problem on the planet, affecting roughly 80% of people at some point in their lives, and it is unfortunate that only a few people know how to prevent and treat it.

Even those who claim to know have had their appearance harmed as a result of the wrong acne treatment.

The good news is that most acne remedies can be found in your kitchen or in your surroundings, allowing you to join the ranks of those with flawless skin.

Here are some effective home remedies for acne prevention and treatment, according to the Mayo Clinic.

1. Grape juice cleanser

Resveratrol in the skin of red grapes may have bactericidal activity against Cutibacterium acnes. C. acnes is a bacteria that causes acne in the sebaceous glands. The study was published in Advances in Dermatology and Allergology.

2. Carrot-based paste

2 medium grated carrots mixed with a little water to make a paste, applied to face once a day for 30 minutes, then rinsed with warm water

3. Aloe vera gel

Alovera gel application:

Scrape the gel from the aloe plant with a spoon. Apply the gel directly to clean skin as a moisturiser.

1–2 times per day, or as needed.

You can also buy aloe vera gel in a store, but make sure it is 100 percent pure aloe with no added ingredients.
