Here are some effective home remedies for acne prevention and treatment, according to the Mayo Clinic.
1. Grape juice cleanser
Resveratrol in the skin of red grapes may have bactericidal activity against Cutibacterium acnes. C. acnes is a bacteria that causes acne in the sebaceous glands. The study was published in Advances in Dermatology and Allergology.
2. Carrot-based paste
2 medium grated carrots mixed with a little water to make a paste, applied to face once a day for 30 minutes, then rinsed with warm water
3. Aloe vera gel
Alovera gel application:
Scrape the gel from the aloe plant with a spoon. Apply the gel directly to clean skin as a moisturiser.
1–2 times per day, or as needed.
You can also buy aloe vera gel in a store, but make sure it is 100 percent pure aloe with no added ingredients.
